WELCOME
We welcome and encourage potential new puppy owners to visit Domaine Summum and meet our pack.
Most litters are spoken for by the time they are whelped, but you're always welcome to visit while a litter is being reared to see for yourself just how wonderful a Bernese puppy can be.

OUR BERNERS
Almost a decade ago, we became breeders of Bernese Mountain Dogs primarily for the love of this particular breed. The health of our dogs is forefront, therefore each female is only bred every 12-18 months. We have an average of 2-3 litters a year.
The Bernese is a highly social breed who craves the attention and interaction of people and other dogs.
We are proud of our facility where our dogs roam free throughout our large property. We are located on 200 acres surrounded by forest in Mont-Tremblant.
MOST IMPORTANT
Our top priority, is HEALTH. Without any exceptions at all, our bernese mountain dogs have to be declared FREE of hip AND elbow dysplasia, with proven certification from specialized organizations, like OFA (www.offa.org).
Our bernese mountain dog also need to be clear of any eye problems.
Also, when we choose to breed one of our bernese mountain dogs, we make sure there is no genetic problems, like dysplasia, for at least 4-5 generations by checking more than 30 dogs behind in the pedigree and gathering the most information on ancestors and brothers/sisters.
We do everything possible to produce, at first, bernese mountain dog puppies with EXCELLENT health and longevity backgrounds that will make them the BEST family companions!
